Text communications  Text communications are used with voice communications chat, instant advice/response messages and spam-free mail.

Instant advice/response, texting and spam-free mail appear on the Desk Top as two icons as shown on the left. In the case of instant advice/response messages, by clicking on the icon, a small display appears as shown.

This display area shows a large range of messages including systems generated messages advising of the arrival of a call, mail or business document for example. It contains instant response messages sent via the universal channel, a communications channel which is always open.

Systems instant advice

Some instant messages are sent to others on the network automatically. These include advice that a call, mail or a business document is arriving.

Instant responses

A large range of instant messages can be sent automatically addressed (like an email reply) and sent in response to incoming calls, mails or documents.

Invites

A class of texting is invitations which is a message addressed to a specific person the network inviting them to something sich as to a call conference.

Texting

Texting is also available for short messages informing someone, for example, of some change in plans or something else they should know.

A large number of instant message contents have pre-prepared introductions so that the user only has to add a small amount of text and click a send button.

The instant message dialogue selection menu is shown below.

Spam-free mail

Navatec Voyager's spam-free mail is based on encrypted instant data (see instant data section) and runs within the Navatec Voyager network which prevents the entry of spam (see security section).
